Test and Assure

Independent Software Testing

Software that works on the developer's machine is not the same as software that works for your customers. We test it from the outside, the way a real user, a real device and a real bad day would, and we tell you plainly what we find.

Because we are independent of whoever built the software, you get an honest view. That matters when you have outsourced development, inherited a codebase, or need confidence before a launch, a tender or a funding milestone.

What's included

01

Manual and exploratory testing

Hands-on testing of real user journeys, edge cases and the awkward paths that scripted checks miss.

02

Automated regression suites

Repeatable tests for the flows that must never break, so each release is checked in minutes rather than days.

03

Performance and load testing

How the system behaves when many people use it at once, and where it slows down or falls over.

04

Cross-browser and device testing

Checks across the browsers, screen sizes and phones your customers actually use.

05

User acceptance testing support

We help you plan, run and document UAT so that sign-off is based on evidence.

06

Release readiness review

A clear go or no-go summary before you launch: what is solid, what is risky, and what to fix first.

How we work

01

Scope the risk

We agree what matters most to your business, what the software is meant to do, and where failure would hurt.

02

Test and document

We test against that scope and record every issue with steps to reproduce it, so developers can act straight away.

03

Report and retest

You get a plain-English report with priorities. Once fixes are made, we retest to confirm they hold.

Who it's for

Small businesses

A second pair of eyes on your website, booking system or app before your customers find the faults.

Larger organisations

Independent assurance on vendor deliverables, with documentation that stands up in governance and approval processes.

Common questions

Can you test software that another team built?

Yes. That is the most common use of independent testing. We do not need to have been involved in the build, only to understand what the software is meant to do.

Do you need access to the source code?

Not always. Much of our testing is done from a user's point of view. Access to a test environment, and to the code where it helps, lets us go deeper. We agree this up front.

Do you fix the issues you find?

We can. Many clients take our report to their own developers, and others ask us to fix the problems as a follow-on piece of work. The choice is yours.
